Films4Forests

Film as a medium for, and part of the process in, establishing dialogue between forest people, NGOs, industry and governments in order to save the rainforests of Indonesia: This is the aim of Films4Forests. The dedicated website has been launched on June 19, containing the first two short films, background information, interviews with forest nomads and interactive maps. A highly impressive statement for the urgent need of action!

Films4Forests is a project of Films4Conservation, a UK-based award-winning non-profit collaboration between a number of different organisations. They have a background in anthropology and natural history and provide a conservation film resource website for consumers, industry and policy makers around the world.
