Aside from the nature center, PanEco will also manage the restaurant and affiliated shop. The elegant dining room will provide a comfortable end to any excursion, exhibition tour, or hike in the Thurauen. While the adults enjoy a fine meal, children can run riot in the natural playground. For special occasions a roof terrace with a wonderful view of the Rhine is also available. Guests on a tight schedule can help themselves to simple dishes also available for takeaway. The kitchen offers down-to-earth, high quality dishes to suit every budget. The food is based on regional products that are produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. This way the restaurant is also a proponent for the principles of sustainability. For the visitor this allows for the carefree enjoyment of the cuisine of the Weinland!
The management of the nature center and restaurant is a unique way to improve the economic viability of the Thurauen center. Profits from the catering business flow into the nature center and visitors to the center can be offered a meal alongside guided tours. For companies, associations and other groups we offer combined excursion packages and also use of the Thurauen center for meetings and seminars.
