| Think Globally, Act Locally To show up global interrelationships in nature conservation and means of action is a main target of our work. Therefore we support projects in Switzerland also, where we focus on environmental education in the Zurich Weinland.

Our main area of work in Switzerland is environmental education. Since 2004, PanEco has been supporting the environmental education center UBZ NeulandWeinland in Berg am Irchel. The UBZ brings poeople closer to the natural treasures and aims to sensitise them for conservation issues. It also highlights global interrelationships and suggests steps anyone can undertake in everyday life to make a difference. Courses and excursions are mainly offered to school classes and families.
In the area of agriculture, UBZ works closely with the sustainable farm „Bungerthof". Guided tours are also an important part of the Bird of Prey Sanctuary Berg am Irchel. This institution was incorporated into the PanEco Foundation in 2008. However, the sanctuary's main focus remains providing care for birds of prey and owls.
