Our work focuses on nature conservation and environmental education in Indonesia and Switzerland. We implement our own projects and support local partner organisations by technical advice and funding.

Training in organic farming
Staff from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, LeSOS and YEL have successfully completed a course in Organic Regulation. The course was held by bio.inspecta AG in Frick, Switzerland, and supported by PanEco.
Ornagutan survey in Leuser National Park
According to the latest survey, approximately 1'500 Sumatra orangutans still inhabit the eastern part of the Gunung Leuser National Park. The survey is part of the Indonesian Action Plan for Orangutan Conservation.
