Behind the Curtain
Place of action of the PanEco team are the foundation's headquarters in Berg am Irchel, Switzerland. Here administration, project management and communication are centred.
An experienced ornithologist, Kaspar Hitz has been managing the Bird of Prey Sancutary since 2008. In March 2010 he was appointed managing director, based on his successful work for PanEco and his expertise in leadership and project management.
Dominique Bärtschi PA & Env. Education
With a Master's degree in Geography and Environmental Science, Dominique Bärtschi has been the assistance of PanEco's managing director since April 2011. Additionally, she supports the team of the Thurauen Centre in environmental education.
Being a graduated Biologist, Conny Hafner has taken over the coordination and managment of nature conservation projects in 2005. Her other responsabilities are quality management, fundraising and public relations.
Cornelia Jenny, biologist and environmental consultant, has been working for PanEco since 1999. She built up the environmental education center UBZ NeulandWeinland and is today its subsidiary director.
Since August 2010, the assistant manager of the bird of prey sanctuary, Andreas Lischke is the contact person for the sanctuary. The biologist and ornithologist is also responsible for maintenance.
Caroline Stoiber Communications & Web
Since October 2010 the communication scientist is in charge of communication and the web. Caroline Stoiber is writing, editing and coordinating the publications and is responsible for the foundation's webpages.
Projects in organic farming are the area of expertise of Susi Wyden, certified educator and organic farmer. She provides technical advice to our education centers in Indonesia and manages the volunteer programme.
Zoologist Petra Zajec is head of the environmental education center UBZ NeulandWeinland. Aditionally she is responsible for our websites and supports the team in public relations.
Doris Ziani, originally a social education worker, has been working for PanEco since 2004 in the area of accounting and staff administration.
